Construction Director - Manchester

My Client has a vacancy for an experienced residential Construction Director to join their successful and growing team. This role will be based from the head office in Manchester and will be responsible for the regions units per year, covering projects across the North West area.

As the Construction Director you will be responsible for overseeing various large housing projects and managing the team of Contracts Managers and Site Managers. You will report to the Managing Director.
The Managing Director will support and develop you , meaning you will enable your team to build on time and within budget. You will need to be adaptable and strong in your management style with a consistent approach to customer care and health and safety.

The Candidate:

Confident leadership, especially from a health and safety perspective is essential. You will be expected to work to our strict standards. It is essential that you have operated as a Contracts Manager within the house building sector in a previous role.

You must have an up to date CSCS card (black management card). Previous qualifications such as a BTEC, NVQ 4 in Site Management or an HND/ Degree or equivalent would be desirable.
