Junior Storeman/Warehouse Assistant

A junior storeman/warehouse assistant is needed

The duties are below

  • Assisting with doing deliveries
  • Collections
  • General Assistance
  • Ensure all stores are clean and tidy at all times
  • Ensure Equipment in stores is clean and in full working order
  • Ensure good housekeeping around the yard i.e. litter pick vicinity, empty ashtrays, rubbish in skip, pallets stored neatly, arranging for skip exchange
  • Assisting with receiving deliveries
  • Liaising with the divisions and arranging supplies for labourers to collect / assisting with loading vans
  • Stock Checks
  • Assisting with fleet requirements i.e collecting parts, attending MOT's, cleaning fleet vehicles, arranging tyre changes on vehicles when required
  • Assistance with facility queries / general "handyman" duties

The role is predominantly based at our clients Chelmsford office, however you also be driving to London as and when needed (using a company vehicle)

The hours are 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday

Training will be provided!

Long term/permanent work available

A drivers licence is essential

It is strongly desired but not essential that candidates have some experience of towing trailers

Great pay rate of £15 per hour + holiday pay and package
