Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

My client is a provider of M&E building services engineering and facilities management, providing a high specification client base with tailored and bespoke technical solutions incorporating both maintenance & projects.

A Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer is required to carry out PPM, servicing, fault finding and breakdown repairs to commercial gas heating systems within a variety of client environments to include (not limited to) commercial/corporate buildings, education & leisure environments located throughout the North West region, notably the Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, M62 Corridor/North Lancashire areas although wider travel across the region will be required as business needs dictate.

In addition to heating systems the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out additional duties as required i.e general plumbing - repair of leaking taps/cisterns and a "first-look" at basic HVAC i.e. AHU/FCU - "the services of a building"

Essential Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

  • Commercial ACS Gas: COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1 TPCP1a
  • Possess strong servicing, fault finding and repair skills
  • Possess a sound knowledge and understanding of commercial gas & heating systems
  • A basic knowledge and appreciation of HVAC and general building maintenance
  • Experienced in performing PPM to commercial gas heating systems within commercial, corporate, education and leisure & retail environments
  • Driving License (Maximum 6 Penalty Points)

  • £40,000
  • Company Van i.e. Ford Connect (Reasonable personal use permitted)
  • Call-out rota 1 - 8
  • Call-out runs from Friday - Friday
  • £100.00 paid for being on call.
  • If called out paid at a minimum of 4 hours
  • Overtime: Time & Half on a Saturday & Double Time & Double Time on a Sunday
