Our client is a Arboricultural Association Approved contractor specialising in vegetation & land management, grounds maintenance & tree care with yards located near Sheffield
They provide services across South Yorkshire and travel further afield when required to do so.
Due to continued contract awards they are looking for a hands on person to work on roads and highways vegetation maintenance projects to manage
Responsible for maintaining highways, footpaths, and green spaces across the area Working on the ground, you'll carry out tree cutting, pruning and vegetation clearance, helping to keep public spaces safe, tidy and well-presented for the local community..
Key Responsibilities
Collect and process timber and vegetation, including chipping and clearing
Maintain and check all tools and machinery for safety and functionality
Work with the team to keep public areas safe and tidy
Follow all health & safety regulations and site procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience operating chipper and grounds maintenance
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual and able to work outdoors in all weather days and nights
Team players with strong work ethic and safety awareness

* NPTC Climbers
* IRATA Chainsaw Operatives
CSCS Card essential
The role is subject to a Drugs and Alcohol Test.
